NCCP is one of the greatest enterprises of Russian nuclear fuel cycles engaged in production of nuclear fuel for power and research reactors, lithium and its compounds.
Objective:
Fuel assembly (FA) production cycle includes the following operations: uranium dioxide powder fabrication and the fuel pellets on its basis, fuel pellets filling into the cladding, fuel element pressurization, fabrication of component parts and FA assembly. It is required to control parameters of the structural components included, especially of the spacer grid, in order to meet technological requirements of the fuel assembly. NCCP required developing "Graphic coordinate interpreter" program to process and graphically interpret samples of the spacer grid.
Solution:
We created an application that provides several graphic interpretations of the source data, which allow judging about production quality. Graphic presentations are closed to the real production form. Coloring and other graphic elements represent the necessary information about the product.
