Online Hotel Booking System #2, Turkey

Objective:

An online booking system had to be added to a website. It had to manage booking activities for 3 hotels.

Solutions:

Most programming was done to create an online booking system that allows users to find and order hotel rooms online. The system saves all the orders and keeps databases of all apartments in hotels to aviod a possibility of double order.
 

Tools and technologies:

The site was developed using PHP/MySQL, DHTML, JavaScript and is run on Windows platform. It was developed on 4 languages: English, Russian, German, and Turkish. New languages can be added to the site anytime.

Back-end features:

• Viewing the list of hotels;  
• Editing room availability in hotels;
• Stopping sale periods;
• Reviewing room availability for a certain period;
• Setting transfer-to-hotel prices;
• Editing room types and sizes;
• Reviewing online orders;
• Managing the guest book;
• Managing the site content;
• Managing travel agencies list and setting discounts for each agency;
• Editing photo galleries.

• Viewing hotel information;
• Choosing display language;
• Making online orders;

• Using discounts for online orders (for travel agencies);
