Deep linking, on the World Wide Web, is the act of placing on a Web page a hyperlink that points
to a specific page or image within another website, as opposed to that website's main or home page.
Such links are called deep links.
It may also apply to instances when a link bypasses a page indicating the terms of use or
specific copyright information. If a site posts where a link should refer as part of the terms
of use for material contained within their website, it is wise and prudent to follow those
specific terms of use.
